dovessero <b>aumentare fino a circa 5 \u00b0C<\/b> rispetto ai livelli preindustriali, il livello del mare <b>nel 2100<\/b> potrebbe crescere di <b>oltre<br \/>1 metro <\/b>rispetto a quello attuale. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c8 ci\u00f2 che emerge dalla <b>ricerca del progetto <\/b><span class=\"Hyperlink0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.savemedcoasts2.eu\/index.php\/en\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">Savemedcoasts-2<\/span><\/a><\/span>, finanziata<br \/>dalla Protezione civile europea e diretta dall<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>Istituto nazionale di geofisica e vulcanologia.<\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo studio, che prende in considerazione <b>5 localit\u00e0 europee<\/b> (tra cui, in<br \/>Italia, Venezia e Metaponto) ha analizzato per quattro anni, dal 2019 al 2022,<br \/>gli <b>effetti dell<\/b><b><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>aumento del livello del mare sulle coste del Mediterraneo<\/b>.<\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Secondo lo studio, dopo un periodo di relativa stabilit\u00e0 durato alcuni secoli, il <b>livello del mare<\/b> sta salendo in tutto il globo. Nel Novecento l<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span><span lang=\"PT\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: PT;\">aumento <\/span>\u00e8 stato tra 14 e 17 centimetri ma, rispetto al secolo scorso, <span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span>la velocit\u00e0 attuale di risalita \u00e8 pi\u00f9 che raddoppiata e continua ad aumentare in maniera accelerata. Infatti, il livello del mare sta salendo al ritmo di oltre <b>30 cm per secolo<\/b>. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Questo comportamento dipende dalla quantit\u00e0 totale di ghiaccio che potrebbe fondere in seguito al <b>riscaldamento globale<\/b>. In particolare, quello che si trova<span lang=\"SV\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: SV;\"> in Antartide<\/span> <span lang=\"NL\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: NL;\">e Groenlandia.<\/span> <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poich<span lang=\"FR\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: FR;\">\u00e9 <\/span>l<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>aumento non \u00e8 costante, a causa <span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span>dei molteplici fattori fisici che agiscono nel tempo e nello spazio in maniera variabile, entro il 2100 il livello medio del mare potr\u00e0 essere pi\u00f9 alto anche di <b>oltre 1 metro <\/b>rispetto all<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>inizio di questo secolo. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In base ai dati e ai modelli utilizzati nel progetto, entro il 2100 l<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>aumento del livello medio del mare a <b>Venezia<\/b> potrebbe raggiungere il valore di<b> +45 cm<\/b>. Nello scenario pi\u00f9 pessimistico invece, il livello medio del mare della citt\u00e0 potr\u00e0 salire fino a <b>+84 cm<\/b> rispetto a quello del 2005. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Per quanto riguarda<b> Metaponto<\/b>, gli scenari di riscaldamento globale stimano un aumento medio del livello del mare fino a un massimo di circa <b>80 cm nel 2100<\/b>. L<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>area, potenzialmente esposta al rischio di <b>inondazioni per esondazioni fluviali <\/b>e <b>mareggiate<\/b>,<b> <\/b>potrebbe raggiungere un<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>estensione di circa 500 ettari.<span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;\"> <br \/><\/span><\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il principale responsabile del fenomeno \u00e8 il<b> riscaldamento globale<\/b>, innescato dalle emissioni di gas serra prodotti dalle attivit\u00e0 umane. Inoltre, lungo le coste subsidenti, cio\u00e8 dove si verificano movimenti del suolo verso il basso; il livello del mare locale aumenta ancora di pi\u00f9, perch<span lang=\"FR\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: FR;\">\u00e9 <\/span>si sommano i due effetti.<\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo studio ammonisce che, in condizioni di livello del mare pi\u00f9 alto, si possono verificare altri fenomeni a cascata; infatti <b>mareggiate<\/b>, <b>tempeste <\/b>e<b> maremoti<\/b> verrebbero amplificati e l<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span><b>erosione delle coste<\/b> sarebbe sempre pi\u00f9 intensa, favorendo un veloce <b>arretramento della linea di costa<\/b>. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vista la situazione, oltre ad affrontare le radici profonde che hanno portato il Pianeta alla crisi climatica, parallelamente \u00e8 necessario strutturare politiche e pratiche in grado di tutelare le regioni costiere, che sono tra le aree <b>pi\u00f9 sensibili agli impatti del riscaldamento globale<\/b>. <\/p><p class=\"Corpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ed \u00e8 proprio questo il proposito di <b><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"mso-ansi-language: EN-US;\">LIFE+ A_GreeNet &#8211; Adriatic Climate Urban Network<\/span><\/b>, co-finan- ziato dall<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>Unione Europea attraverso il programma LIFE: rendere le <b>citt\u00e0 della costa del Medio Adriatico pi\u00f9 resilienti al cambiamento climatico <\/b>attraverso vari interventi (il recupero dei suoli, la piantumazione di foreste e aree verdi), soluzioni flessibili (verde verticale, verde in copertura, dispositivi verdi, ecc.) e favorendo la concreta realizzazione dei Piani d<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>Azione per l<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\" style=\"font-family: 'Arial Unicode MS',serif; mso-ascii-font-family: Helvetica; mso-hansi-font-family: Helvetica;\">\u2019<\/span>Energia Sostenibile e il Clima.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Come sar\u00e0 il Mediterraneo nel2100?
